What We Do

The mission of the East Greenwich Town Democratic Committee is to to encourage and promote civic responsibility and to recruit, support, and elect Democratic candidates to represent the people of East Greenwich at town, state, and national levels.

In order to accomplish our mission, we are guided by our core values which support a government dedicated to the health, education, safety, and economic security of all people.

Who We Are

We are a committee of up to 50 East Greenwich residents committed to the democratic process and to supporting Democrats running for local, state and national office. Members of the EGTDC are active members of the East Greenwich community, serving on town council, school committee, and on local boards and commissions. We meet monthly to share news, talk politics, strategize and plan.

Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday at 7:00pm at the Parks and Recreation building on Frenchtown Road. To learn more, or attend our next meeting, send an email to eastgreenwichdems@gmail.com.
